Scharf's Ateret Avot is different from other facilities in that the people who live here are able to make choices about what they want to do. There may be two or three activities going on simultaneously. They have the option to continue in the kind of programs they enjoy or try something new.

At Scharf's Ateret Avot we want our guests to feel that they're in charge; we want them to come to us and tell us what they need, rather than do for them what we think they need.
