When families come to Ateret Avot, looking to see why they should place their family members here, especially those who have been languishing or not doing so well.

What we tell them is, "Give us about two weeks." When the two weeks are over, you see a new person breathing, talking with a glint in their eye, participating, learning, they're enjoying life, and they have no time to speak to their family members. All of which in turn breathes new life in their children.

We have been able to prove that the longevity of our residents has been tremendously affected by the attention and hands-on real honest-to-goodness care that they receive here.
